Remembering and Honoring

As we begin our day today, let us not forget the sacrifices made by the men and women who were killed or injured on September 11, 2001.

America is strong, America is safe only when we are able to engage one another with honesty and respect.

We will be honest and respectful with one another only after we practice honest evaluation of our own actions, and respectful acceptance of the effects our actions have on others.

Except for electing our president, we haven't been on the same page as a nation since.......

You are so right. Yet right after that day we were all so loving and together. Everyone was so generous and patient kum ba yah. It's gone downhill since then. Greed and selfishness especially went through the roof. The wonderful leadership of Bush and Cheney divided us up and gave an OK to the stupids, the greedys, the racists and crazies until the rest of us screamed for change.
