Chicago in Sync

If you didn't see Oprah's outdoor block party celebrating her 24th season with the Black Eyed Peas, Jennifer Hudson, (Sweet Baby) James Taylor, Chris Angel and Rascal Flats you missed a history making event. The largest flash mob in the world was performed by 20,000 Chicagoans. Yeah, 20,000 peeps dancing in sync to the Pea's "I Gotta Feeling".

It's amazing and yeah I agree, only in Chitown.

As I was watching this, I was wondering if you were there!!! I LOVE Chicago, and especially downtown.......fun to see familiar landmarks! Oh, and the show was fun too!

Oh Chris, my sister and I intended to go but it would have been an all day thing. The area on Michigan Ave. was blocked off and people were allowed in at about 10 am with the taping not until 5 pm. I'm sure it was worth the wait but we decided not to go after all.

Looked like a lot of fun....I watched the whole show...Chicago into the evening, with that weather!!!!! Magical!!!!
My favorite visit was one summer when we stayed downtown, walked everywhere, even in the rain....went out on the lake, enjoyed a jazz night at the Museum, Blue Chicago one night (still have the BC poster on my wall), and I think that was the time we were there for the Taste of Chicago........it was a great trip with wonderful memories!!
