I was just reading aboutthe murder of Donald Young and another Black gay man in Chicago. I read that some people in the community are saying that this may be the work of a serial killer targeting Black Gay men.
Is this a big story in Chicago? What do you think about the serial killer angle?
There is talk among people that this could be a hate crime. The media, as far as I've seen; has not gone there and the particulars of the case have been somewhat quiet. This could mean they have some suspect in mind or they don't want info out yet. But yes, there have been too many gay men killed here, so there may be some nut at work.
Donald Young was 4th grade teacher as well as a talented musician. He leaves a big hole in the world.
